Great picture with digital cable (not HD), regular Ant / Cable connection with coaxial cable and digital cable adapter. Good sound, good volume, good value for the price. Viewing is best when the TV is slightly below eye level to minimize the dark. Very pleased with this TV. I also have a 19 "Toshiba, so I was already familiar with the various controls and settings.
